Watched: Campus Confidential

Today I was in the mood for a Taiwanese RomCom, so I watched Campus Confidential. The Director isn’t really notable but the female main cast is Ivy Chen. You might or might not know her from other Taiwanese movies like Hear Me or Spider Lillies.

The movie itself was decent. Nothing you will have to watch but it’s not like you will feel like you wasted your time either. It has it’s flaws. For example, the exaggerated portrayal of the College Geeks or the (at the beginning) arrogant character of Ivy Chen. Not for a second did I get an arrogant expression of her, it’s just not HER to be arrogant. As a positive note, it did have a nice and fresh twist at the end, which I didn’t expect.

The plot was like all the other Taiwanese RomComs out there but with a College theme. It’s good enough to not being wasted time but it’s not good enough to go out and search everywhere for this movie.
